The time to sing is when your emotional level is just too high to speak anymore, and the time to dance is when your emotions are just too strong to only sing about how you feel.

Note From Minnifield: Long quote today. This is a song Kris wrote called Here Comes that Rainbow Again. It was one of Johnny Cash’s favorite songs. It’s worth listening to. Causing small loving gestures do matter. And just so you know, Kris was really nice to me on day in Jackson Mississippi when I was three sheets to the wind and he was performing at the Medgar Evers Benefit at the Jackson Fairgrounds. I introduced myself and he talked with me till I ran out of steam. Hell of a nice guy. Thanks Kris. Small loving gestures.
Here comes that Rainbow again
The scene was a small roadside cafe
The waitress was sweepin’ the floor
Two truck-drivers drinkin’ their coffee
And two okie-kids by the door
How much are them candies, they asked her
How much have you got, she replied
We’ve only a penny between us
Them’s two for a penny, she lied
And the daylight grew heavy with thunder
With the smell of the rain on the wind
Ain’t it just like a human
Here comes that rainbow again
One truck driver called to the waitress
After the kids went outside
Them candies ain’t two for a penny
So what’s it to you, she replied
In silence they finished their coffee
Got up and nodded good bye
She called, hey, you left too much money
So what’s it to you, they replied
And the daylight grew heavy with thunder
With the smell of the rain on the wind
Ain’t it just like a human
Here comes that rainbow again

Science does not have a moral dimension. It is like a knife. If you give it to a surgeon or a murderer, each will use it differently.
