More signs of summer. Great Scout was out wandering around doing what Great Scout does, when he came across this – a newborn Antelope. He was still wet (the antelope not Great Scout) and doing a fine job being still and quiet, his only defense until he learns to run.

Dream Lake has thawed and the baby Killdeer are taking advantage. They don’t actually kill deer, their name coming from the sound of their voice which resembles someone saying “kill-deer.”
